At The Lucky 7 we take hygiene and safety very seriously. On site we use only the best tattoo equipment, coming from only the best suppliers that the UK has to offer.
Unlike the vast majority of tattoo studios, we do not have a sterilizer on site. This is because EVERYTHING we use is single use only, and is then disposed of by incineration after the tattoo. Although Autoclave Sterilizers work very well, we feel that they are still machines, and machines can fail without warning. We decided that in the interest of our customers we would use completely disposable equipment so there is zero chance of cross contamination between clients. All the surrounding surfaces are covered and protected, then cold surface sterilized – Tattoo machines are covered , power packs are covered to prevent contamination when adjusting settings, trolleys and arm rests/beds are all covered. Anything that we or our customers could come into contact with is covered and sterile. Little short of us wrapping up in tin foil we could not get any cleaner
